Departure from the Laveno port at 8.30 an early start
for long reascending of the northern breeze, which, board
after board, will take us till the Castles, at the limit
of the grand canal, known for its strong winds.
•
Once arrived, there are two alternatives:
•
First: a stop into Cannero Riviera, where we can take
advantage of the new tourist port where will moor, and
then visit the characteristic village, rich of local architecture,
little restaurants and local craft shops.
•
Second: a nice board across till Portovaltravaglia, where
we can find a buoy to moor, and have a swim, where the
water is always clear, with the possibility to reach the
stony beach. Have lunch.
•
In both cases, at the rise of the southern breeze, we
will have to set sail for a come back, sailing close-hauled,
still, till the arrival al the port of our departure.
